The tom add-on pack has two rack toms and is made for the Ludwig Accent CS Combo Drum Set which I have. The double bass pedal is going to be a Pacific Drums by DW DP402 Double Bass Drum Pedal.

William F. Ludwig made the first bass drum pedal in 1909. This paved the way for the modern drum kit. A bass pedal is made of a “footplate” that is pressed to pull a chain, belt or metal mechanism downward which then causes a “beater” to move towards the drumhead. The double bass pedal allows the drummer to make more beats with two beaters making the sound of the drum set more powerful.
Sound quality is always the main concern of any musician. To attain a clear drum beat is the object of getting a double bass pedal. This not only makes the beating sound fuller but also better. The drum set with a double bass pedal is always the better one that one that only has a single bass drum pedal.
Classes of double bass pedals are:
Belt drive double bass pedals – The belt drive is composed of four interchangeable cams. Have adjustable belt drives, increased traction and adjustable toe clamps. There are separate adjustments for pedal board height, beater angle and spring tension. These types of pedals have a stabilizer for quick release and Velcro straps. The beaters come with two surfaces and non slip memory locks. Direct drive double bass pedals – These pedals provide fast response and seamless pedaling. Have the same features as the dual cam double bass pedals.
Buying tips when buying double bass pedals:
Choose pedal belts made of plastic embedded with steel cable for stretch resistance and durability. Choose one with adjustable belt or chain drives to allow easy change of angle of the footboard. This is important for comfort while playing. For maximum traction, choose one with rubber discs or dots on the foot pedal to prevent slipping.
