I have a purple fender squire and a roland 30x cude amp. I really want to learn bass or drums now since I have 2 electric guitars and 2 amps so I figured I could sell the crappier ones...
So far I have been offered a Yamaha 5 string bass,
Ibanez SR300DX bass. It is in new condition (still have the store tags)J-P pickup configuration and active circuit w/ gig bag, WESTBURY JR DRUM KIT JAZZ SIZE WITH CYMBALS BLACK
Are any of these a good trade? I reallt wanted a fender jazz bass... or a lower end pearl drum set i saw at LA music that was 700
Are these worth the trade? Or do you know anywhere/anyone in mississauga/toronto that would trade my stuff for my bass and drum wants?

One of the diretors on guitar hero said quote "Guitar Hero director Brian Bright confirmed that Rock Band (the original one) instruments would not only work fine with Guitar Hero: World Tour, but that you could use any electronic drum set with the game as it will ship with a MIDI connection on the back of the drum kit."
I tried this but i can only get 3 pads to work. The blue one when i hit the first Tom. The Orange one when i hit the Crash, and the Yellow one when i hit the hi-hat. All others dont register to any other drum. Is it possible to fix this so that all of the drums work?

The Wii has 2 USB sockets on the back and I got a cable which can connect my drum set to the Wii with a USB socket. It won't sense it as drums though because the Wii's drums for guitar hero world tour, guitar hero Metallica and guitar hero smash hits/greatest hits.
The drum set designed for these guitar hero games plug in directly to the Wii remote.

So this is what I read which makes me think it's somehow possible to use my MIDI-compatible drums.
Is there like something I can download or a patch or something to let me do this?
Sorry.... I think I should have worded this a bit better. Oh well, the extra detail isn't even that necesarry anyway.

my drum set that i use with guitar hero you will need to buy an MIDI cord that goes from the GHWT drum set to the MIDI out setting on your drum brain 1. go to setting 50 on the drum brain. 2. Click the voice/level/pan/tune button 3. After clicking the voice button hit the bass pedal and it will switch the setting. Use the volume button to change the MIDI setting These are my MIDI settings Kick - 01.6 Snare - 21.3 Rim - 21.3 the same as the snare Hi-Hat - 27.8 Hi-Hat Control - 27.8 the same as the Hi-Hat Crash - 24.2 tom 1 - 28.0 tom 2 - 23.8 tom 3 - 27.8 after doing this, go into practice mode and try it out that should be it If you have anymore questions just let me know

Hotel California Guitar Solo cover performed by Justin Frye. I used a Gibson Les Paul through a Marshall Halfstack and boss pedals. Hotel California" is the title song from the Eagles' album Hotel California and was released as a single in early 1977. It is one of the best-known songs of the album-oriented rock era.
